Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on the “add to Basket” button, this will put them into the shopping basket. To remove items or change quantities click on “view your basket”. After you have finished your selection, click the “proceed to Checkout” button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.( This is where you will be asked about you country of origin, and at this point the postage will be recalculated for you particular country)

Shipping And Handling

We aim to have your order ready for despatch within one to two working days of receipt of order and payment.

UK Orders

All UK orders under 2Kg in weight will be sent out via Royal Mail  second class delivery service Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery timescale with royal mail. All  UK orders over 2Kg in weight will be sent out on an overnight delivery service (UK Mainland only).

European Orders

All orders to european countries in the EU will be sent out via road freight service and will take up to 7 days to reach you. Postage price is dependent on weight and the country we are sending to, so when you order please put in the country you are from and you will be given a price for postage. You can still cancel the order at this stage.

International Orders

We now post to most countries in the world.

Prices for this postage are dependent on the weight of the order and the country they are been sent to. To see how much it will cost you, you will need to go through the order process, and it will ask you for your country of origin, you will then be able to see the shipping cost. You can still cancel your order at this time.  Please contact us if you require any further information.

Please remember that you may have to pay import duties, custom duties, or sales taxes. This may delay you receiving your order. These charges are separate to what you will pay us, and will be billed directly from your local customs office. We would advise you to contact your local customs office for more details. We wish we could give details from this site, but as each country is different, it is impossible for us to do so.

Back Orders

We do not back order. If an item is not in stock we will attempt to contact you for your instructions. If we are unable to contact you we will remove the item from your order rather than delay despatch.

Shelf Life

All of our products have a specified shelf life from the date of manufacture. Many of our products have a long shelf life, however some products may reach us with only some of their full shelf life remaining and, as they may then be in stock at MM Ingredients for a short period, we can only try to ensure that products have at least one third of their shelf life remaining at the time they are supplied to you. However, if this is not acceptable to you, please notify us at the time of placing your order.

Sale of goods

No products are sold on a “Sale or Return” basis.

Goods should be inspected at the time of delivery and any damages or shortages must be reported to us within 3 working days of receipt of the goods for a credit note to be issued or a replacement to be dispatched. If you are unable to inspect the goods at the time of delivery, and they have come via courier, please ensure that the goods are signed for as “goods unchecked” from the carrier. Without this, we will be unable to make a claim from the carrier for damages.

Right of Cancellation

Please note that you have a statutory right to cancel this contract within 60 days of delivery by written notice to MM Ingredients via email. Goods must be returned at your expense and risk, and must be appropriately packaged. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns

Products purchased via the MM Ingredients Website can be returned to us, in their original unopened condition, for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of the date of dispatch.

When you return a Product to us:

(a)        Because you have cancelled the Contract between us within the 60 day period above we, will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 5 days of receipt of the returned goods.  In this case, we will refund the price of the product in full.  You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the item to us.

(b)        For any other reason.  We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 5 days of having received the defective item back.  Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

In the case of an order arriving damaged, we may in agreement with you, rather than returning the order, replace all or some of the order, whichever you prefer.

We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Complaints Procedure

All complaints are dealt with equally and fairly. We aim to respond to all complaints within one working day and to resolve all complaints within five working days. Any customer details passed to us are kept confidential and you will be kept informed of the complaint process. Any claim for non-delivery or damaged goods must be made within 14 days of our despatch.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The only personal information that we collect is the information that you give at the time of ordering. We do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are only used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.  Except for emails relating to an order in progress we will not email you without having obtained your prior consent.

Statutory Rights

Please note that none of our terms and conditions affect your Statutory Rights as a consumer.
